Slick ‘C’ and ‘K’

Learning English comes with a fun,
Just stay with me; let's try this run.
The letters' C' and 'K' are two peas in a pod
Just like worms in the sod.
The letter 'K' is perfectly hidden.
Its present, but it's silent and free
The 'C' is useless when it's next to the 'K.'
Like a dead branch on a tree.
Don't let 'C' tick you off
As 'C' steals the identity of 'K' to sound harsh.
The word republican has a stolen 'K' sound,
With a busted knee, the 'K' must stick around.
They show their knuckles when not provoked.
And hide away when wisdom pokes.
Just like hyenas softly chuckle.
Convinced that they are smart, but they are fickle.
They stick in pairs like a tight knot
Protect each other so they don't get caught.
They flock to misinformation like knick-knacks.
Choke on maga and qanon wack.

  2. 💜 As An Accomplished Speaker of “English” I have no idea how such a crappy language Become Acceptable Accessible and Addictive to EveryOne; it’s THE WORST LANGUAGE EVER!!!

  3. An academic post.
And in the mist of Springbreak. ha! ha! (Fun)!
It reminds me of grage-school gramma lessons.
Have you ever completed a vocation and when you are employed in that profession
the job has its own rules contrary to rules taught and learned in college.
Created rebel writers care nothing about the rules of language, but use language in twist and turns to pen masterpieces.
For example. *Grade-school gramma lessons drill the eight parts of speech into student’s brains, but once you’re out of the classroom it can be hard to remember all the details-listent good: You may be a skilled public speaker but not know the difference between a subordinating conjunction and a reflexive pronoun. Hip Hop is, by far, the most successful jewel in entertainment because rappers took traditional language and freaked it into success and happiness that people can relate to in a serious way and fun way night and day!

    1. This was not meant to be an academic post; I genuinely do not qualify to teach anyone English. However, if one finds this as a key to learning the English language and its elements, I would be pleased. This poem is focused on political spin more than anything.

      1. You would be correct. I’ve spent so much time being embarrassed over the last 4 years that I almost forgot what normal was. 🤣 I swear you couldn’t make some of this shit up that is going on in Washington DC

      2. as long as we are not bystanders.. we shall overcome idiocracy and we will redefine freedom.
I see this as the world trying to balance itself- to some degree. The country that was the stongest, became weak allowing other countries to catch up. I chose to find a positive twist in this.

      3. That’s a good way to be. Younger generations are becoming more and more progressive. So I have hope that the GOP and their sycophants will one day be just a bad dream. It has been an absolute nightmare really.

  4. The ‘C’ and ‘K’ incorporated in the priceless poem-post
is akin to the *Imperative Sentence*=the *You* isn’t in the *Sentence*
but the *You* is apart of the *Sentence*
    Example, “go to the store*
it means *You go to the store*=*Imperative Sentence*
