Oh destiny, I didn’t schedule this meeting

I wish I could cancel this appointment
I should have ignored the knock on my door
A vicious turn was out of my view
A stub through the heart, a pierce through the core.
Oh destiny, I didn’t schedule this meeting
Perhaps you knocked on the wrong door
Time to be honest, I’m pleading
Turn life around, put on the track as before.
Oh destiny, you killed a dreamer
A dreamer that lived in my heart
A dreamer and an ardent believer
That life is a gift. Now, where do I start?
Even if I wanted to chase the ferocious lion
Even if I run to his roar
A kick below the knee left me as a dandelion
Pleading for a chance on a collapsing floor.
Oh destiny, I didn’t schedule this meeting
Perhaps you knocked on the wrong door
Time to be honest, I’m pleading
Turn life around, put on the track as before.
