Season for Imagination

White flurry magic comes from the sky,
flattering down with elegance and grace
Just like angels, softly cover the earth
bring a season of joy one can't erase
A white landscape obscuring the ground,
pure fluffy blanket as far as the eye can see
Children with sleds bounce around
in the frigid air full of joy, bliss, and glee.
Stomped down the sidewalk piled high with freshly fallen snow
stop and pick up a snowball to throw
Fumes come out of their mouth as they talk and laugh
softly frosting threads on their scarfs
These snowy days as jubilation for kids of every age
‘Tis the season for imagination
when the heart and mind aren't encaged
