In the end, we all become a story

To you, who aided the demise of my life
Fragmented and depressed my existence
You caused calamity and strife
Bestirred a beast in me with steady persistence.
To live and give. To feel and love
To crush the rocks that paralyzed me
Reclaim the roots of kindness and truth
Chirrup! My joyful song that drifted idly.
I am a person just like you. Have tears. Feel pain
What can I possibly say to you? You have no shame.
How can you peacefully sleep with your devious heart
Knowing that you destroyed innocent lives
Today, might be the day you feel like a winner
When the sun comes out, the ice gets thinner.
To you, who aided the demise of my life
In the end, we all become a story
Up from the depth of ruin and loss, I shall rise
Riding on waves of glory.
To live and give. To feel and love
To crush the rocks that paralyzed me
Reclaim the roots of kindness and truth
Chirrup! My joyful song that drifted idly.

  1. 💜 What Worked for Me is Quitting Blaming and Finding Fault with Others; it doesn’t work for most of Us until We Turn InSide and Do The Internal Work, Caveat Being Our Creativity May Be Stunted

  2. You write powerfully and beautifully with touching passion. Yes, it is right to be angry at injustice, but knowing that all things work for the good in the end for those of us who love God and are the called, even the cruel actions of men can be a blessing to bring us to the place of no longer taking PERSONAL offense…. By the time God finishes his work in us, NOTHING shall offend us… A mystery indeed that I just now am understanding. My broken heart is being healed by the most passionate love imaginable-… HIS being made manifested to me and through me. You shall have it too, my sister. Our God has given much treasure to you and made you a rare treasure as well. Thank you for sharing yourself and your amazing gift with us.
