All thy ignorant, all thy vile If you can’t see that you have poisoned the Earth. Short- term thinkers, noisy and loud Decided fear to control your thoughts Inactions caused tangles and knots. All thy obdurate, all thy wretched Obsessed with fame and lavish lifestyle Gripped by idleness, unsympathetic to humankind Polluting the Earth, Polluting each other’s souls with venom and bile.

The world is so busy counting money thinking the economy is more important than the environment. It’s the greatest threat. Awesome post with the strongest message.

A difficult poem to read and difficult photos to see. But we have to see the realities of our actions on nature. A good meditation for Earth Day — and every day afterward.

We don’t get our act together, Mother Nature will take back home – kick us out. EVERYONE must EVERY DAY do something personal to seek remedy at home, with sacrifice large or small. THEN we must be part of, and instrumental in, a larger voice. Good post.
